Process Paper
How we chose our topic
The Productivity of the light bulb is the topic we selected by making suggestions as a group. We analyzed dozens of options but it came down to the 1960s and the light bulb. So we tried using the 1960s as our first option but we all knew that it was too broad. So by process of elimination our topic was the light bulb. Later on that day our teacher reviewed our chosen topic but exclaimed it wasn’t specific enough. So finally after we discussed about we finally came up with the affect the light bulb had on productivity because it increased the productivity of the world. The light bulb itself was improved over the years and that is better improving the world.
How we conducted our research
The next step was research we split up into different parts of the website and distributed into different things we should research. Jennifer Ramirez had the job of the written material, 500 word process paper. Brandon Ortiz created and edited the website by putting everything that was done together. Ashley McNally created the annotated bibliography that detailed everything we put on the website and gave credit to where we got it from. Ashley also put all the multimedia on the project. Everything was divided into three and put together into one.
How we selected our presentation category and created our project
We chose the presentation of a website because it made it easier for the viewer to analyze and recognize the changes the light bulb actually caused on productivity. The website allowed us to give you a better understanding of all forms that include primary resources, blue prints, and the chronological order of the improvements of the actual creation. We basically put everything that had to do with the light bulb and incorporated it with reason and fact to show how it increased productivity. On the website you could realize that the light bulb actually made a change. The presentation would be better understood with a better form of explanation. A website can be viewed more than once and can be used in further understanding the topic.
